  • 10<\/span> oz<\/span> all purpose flour<\/span><\/li>
  • 14<\/span> oz<\/span> granulated sugar<\/span><\/li>
  • 4<\/span> oz<\/span> cocoa powder (like Herseys non Dutch)<\/span><\/li>
  • 1\u00bd<\/span> tsp<\/span> baking powder<\/span><\/li>
  • 2<\/span> tsp<\/span> baking soda <\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> tsp<\/span> salt<\/span><\/li>
  • 2<\/span> large eggs<\/span> (room temp)<\/span><\/li>
  • 8<\/span> oz<\/span> buttermilk<\/span><\/li>
  • 8<\/span> oz<\/span> hot coffee<\/span><\/li>
  • 4<\/span> oz<\/span> veg oil<\/span><\/li>
  • 2<\/span> tsp <\/span> vanilla extract<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

    Chocolate Fusge Frosting<\/h4>
    • 6<\/span> oz<\/span> unsalted butter <\/span> softened<\/span><\/li>
    • 10<\/span> oz<\/span> powdered sugar<\/span><\/li>
    • 1.5<\/span> oz<\/span> cocoa powder<\/span><\/li>
    • 1<\/span> oz<\/span> milk<\/span><\/li>
    • 10<\/span> oz<\/span> semi-sweet chocolate<\/span><\/li>
    • 6<\/span> oz<\/span> heavy cream<\/span><\/li>
    • 1<\/span> tsp<\/span> vanilla extract<\/span><\/li>
    • 1<\/span> tsp<\/span> salt<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

      Chocolate Drip<\/h4>
      • 6<\/span> oz<\/span> semi-sweet chocolate<\/span><\/li>
      • 4<\/span> oz<\/span> heavy cream<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n

        Instructions<\/h3>

        Easy Chocolate Cake<\/h4>
        • Heat oven to 350F, prep 2 8\u201d pans with bakers joy or something similar <\/span><\/div><\/li>
        • Combine all dry ingredients in kitchen aid bowl, give it a whirl to mix<\/span><\/div><\/li>
        • Add all wet ingredients except coffee into bowl and mix on 6 speed for 2 minutes <\/span><\/div><\/li>
        • Turn to 2 speed and gradually add in hot coffee until just combined (do not over mix)<\/span><\/div><\/li>
        • Pour batter into cake pans, back for 40-45 minutes, or until cake springs back up<\/span><\/div><\/li>
        • Cool in pan for 15 minutes (or warm to touch) before cooking on wire rack<\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

          Fudge Buttercream<\/h4>
          • Heat heavy cream in pan until just steaming then pour over chocolate, wait 5 minutes before whisking<\/span><\/div><\/li>
          • Add softened butter into your kitchen aid bowl and whisk to pale yellow<\/span><\/div><\/li>
          • Sift powdered sugar and cocoa powder and whisk with butter until smooth <\/span><\/div><\/li>
          • Use a spatula to fold in the ganache, if it too soft to work with, chill in refrigerator for 20 minutes<\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

            Chocolate drip<\/h4>
            • Heat cream in pan until steaming<\/span><\/div><\/li>
            • Pour over chocolate chips, wait 5 minutes before whisking till smooth<\/span><\/div><\/li>
            • Cool until barely warm to squeeze only a chilled cake for best drip look<\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n
