Tom Yum Cashews"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This snack exploded into popularity about 10 years ago. \u00a0They sold them at the Bangkok airport, varying degrees of spiciness, some with different nuts and some with other added ingredients. \u00a0But this original flavor is my favorite, and it\u2019s super easy to make. \u00a0Since I can\u2019t visit Thailand on whim, this is the next best thing.<\/p>\n<p>There are specialty ingredients, you need Tom Yum Paste, Lemongrass, and Kaffir Lime Leaves. \u00a0Tom Yum and Lemongrass are found in most Asian supermarkets, but kaffir likes leaves aren\u2019t as easily found, I used dried kaffir lime leaves from Amazon.<br \/>\n<div id=\"recipe\"><\/div><div id=\"wprm-recipe-container-495\" class=\"wprm-recipe-container\" data-recipe-id=\"495\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Add cashews, mix well<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-495-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, lay the cashews in a single layer, try to get all the sauce onto the tray, that\u2019s the KEY. <\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-495-step-0-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Bake for 18 minutes, stirring every 6 minutes.  Be sure to get the sauce off the foil and mixed onto the cashews.  <\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-495-step-0-5\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Turn the heat to 350F, bake another 10 minutes, mixing every 5 minutes.  <\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-495-step-0-6\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Remove the cookie sheet from the oven, sprinkle the finely chopped kaffir lime leaves onto the cashews, mix well.<\/span><\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-495-step-0-7\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Cool the cashews completely before storing.
